They are seeking a Finance Analyst to support their Group Financial Planning and Analysis team by providing insights into cash processes and financial performance across the business.ResponsibilitiesExtracting and analysing financial data from multiple sources including ledgers, payroll, VAT returns and bank statementsDeveloping and maintaining robust cash forecasting models to support accurate reportingSupporting monthly rolling forecast processes by delivering insightful data and analysisInvestigating and explaining variances between forecasts and actual resultsIdentifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance financial reporting efficiencySkillsExperience analysing and interpreting financial data to deliver clear insightsStrong Microsoft Excel skills, including building and maintaining financial modelsExperience working with finance systems such as SAP, IFS or similar platformsProven ability to identify issues and implement process improvementsThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this roleA relevant finance, accounting or business-related qualification or working towards one (e.g. AAT, ACCA, CIMA) is desirableBenefitsGenerous holiday allowanceMatched contribution pension scheme, with life assuranceAccess to a Digital GP, annual health check, and nutritional consultations through Aviva DigiCare+Employee shopping savings portalPayment of Professional FeesReservists in the armed forces receive 10-days special paid leaveHoliday Trading is a benefit that allows UK Babcock employees to buy additional leave or to sell up to one working week of annual leave from their annual entitlement.
