They are hiring their first Field Product Manager for Observability in the Americas, responsible for market development, technical pre-sales, and product representation to enhance customer engagement and product roadmap input.ResponsibilitiesOwn Observability's market development in the Americas: target accounts, demos, technical pre-sales, and proof-of-value engagementsRun product demos and discovery sessions. You are the product expert in the roomSource and shape OEM and embed partnerships that put Observability in front of new audiencesTranslate customer signal into prioritized roadmap input for the engineering team in EuropeRepresent Observability externally at conferences, in webinars, and through written thought leadershipUse AI tooling in your day-to-day (demo prep, account research, competitive teardowns) to move faster than a traditional field PMSkills3+ years in a field-facing role: Field PM, Sales Engineering, Solutions Architect, or Technical PMMComfortable owning a live demo and a technical discovery call without a backstopTechnical depth in either observability / data tooling (Datadog, Grafana, New Relic, Honeycomb, etc.) or video streaming and media techTrack record of turning customer conversations into product decisionsWilling to take EU-morning calls a few times per week and travel ~25–30%Experience launching a new product or category into an existing customer baseBackground working with European engineering teamsHands-on use of AI tooling in your workflow today (Cursor, Claude, custom agents, etc.)Prior exposure to OEM, embed, or partnership-led GTM motionsBenefitsWe will support you with learning, training, and coaching on the jobFor all of our roles, we are willing to offer flexible working arrangements to support everyone’s unique circumstancesCompany OverviewBitmovin is a multimedia technology company providing adaptive streaming video infrastructure for global digital media companies.
