This role involves leading and executing strategy development, transactions, and turn-arounds for clients, focusing on identifying and unlocking value through improvements in corporate strategy and commercial functions.ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Associate/Consultant with EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution Commercial Strategy practice, you will be a vital member of the team leading and executing strategy development, transactions, and turn-arounds for our clientsYou'll collaborate with our EY Parthenon team members to realize improved returns for clients by identifying and unlocking value through improvements in corporate/BU strategy, go-to-market strategy (including digital), commercial operating model, and optimization of the commercial functions (sales, service, marketing, pricing), while minimizing customer disruptionYou will identify, define, quantify, and realize sustainable value through revenue enhancement and cost and margin improvement tied to the commercial aspects of the clientsâ businessSkillsA bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Analytics and 2 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 18 months of related work experienceManagement consulting experienceExperience in the following: Corporate and/or BU strategy developmentExperience in the following: Commercial functions (e.g. sales, marketing, customer service, pricing)Experience in the following: Go-to-market strategy and revenue synergy design/capture for traditional, digital and hybrid commercial modelsExperience in the following: Evaluation of market landscape including market size, competition, market trends and resulting commercial implicationsExperience in the following: Pre-deal strategy including growth assessments (e.g. profitability assessments, clean room, etc.)Excellent analytical skills and the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insightsDemonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysisThe ability to prioritize effectively on projects and the skills to adapt quickly to new challenges and conceptsSolid negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to develop long-lasting relationships both internally and externallyYou must either reside in or be in a commutable distance to your office location for this positionThe ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
