We're working with a fast-growing, cloud-native financial SaaS company that's looking to bring on a Cloud Network Engineer to support their growing hybrid cloud infrastructure. This is a contract-to-hire role and requires strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform, Cisco networking, F5 load balancers, and enterprise-grade firewalls.
You'll be joining a cutting-edge engineering team that's modernizing legacy financial networks and migrating critical workloads to Google Cloud. They're looking for someone passionate, driven, and curious-someone who can bring sharp networking chops while learning and growing within a dynamic environment that respects work-life balance and encourages experimentation.
Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years in network engineering roles
• Expertise with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) networking services (VPCs, Cloud Armor, Cloud VPN, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches
• Deep understanding of F5 LTM/GTM configuration and administration
• Strong background in managing and configuring enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.)
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, NAT, and VPN technologies
Desired Skills & Experience
• Google Cloud Platform or Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNP, Google Cloud Platform Network Engineer)
• Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure-as-Code tools
• Exposure to Kubernetes networking
• Knowledge of Zero Trust or SD-WAN architectures
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog or Splunk
