[Remote] Equity Analyst/Researcher – Amazon Store

Toptal is a global network of top talent in business, design, and technology, and is seeking a motivated Equity Analyst/Researcher to contribute to a new equity research tool for retail investors. The role involves applying expertise to identify and refine key valuation drivers, essentially teaching the system how to think like an analyst. Responsibilities Choose 10–20 companies you already know well. For each name, spend roughly 5 hours distilling the core valuation drivers—e.g., revenue growth levers, margin expansion potential, cost structure shifts, regulatory or macro sensitivities, and upcoming catalysts. Deliver concise write-ups and supporting data that connect each driver to potential equity performance scenarios. Skills Currently employed or within the past year employed at an equity research firm (sell-side, independent, or buy-side with formal training), with at least 1 year of experience covering companies within the S&P 500. Ability to turn complex drivers into clear, actionable insights for non-research stakeholders. Strong written communication and the ability to work independently on a part-time schedule.
