This role involves collaborating with stakeholders and end-users to optimize the application’s configuration and providing day-to-day application support and resolving issues.ResponsibilitiesServes as a support contact for application end‐users. Identifies issues and works to resolve themDesigns, develops, implements, and maintains the applicationSupports all phases of testing and document workflow designPerforms the analysis of information technology in clinical work processes and validates the impacts to the workflowProvides day-to-day application support, evaluates and resolves service tickets, implements requested application changes, and retrieves requested data promptlyCollaborates with trainers on application changes and new features to develop documentation and training strategiesAssists with analyzing the impact of information technology in clinical work processesParticipates in on-call rotations and supportAttends and participates in applicable committeesMaintains regular communication with team members and participates in weekly project team meetingsReviews the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadershipBecomes knowledgeable about UHealth’s policies, procedures, and business operationsAdheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assetsProviding oversight and leadership to Associate Epic Analysts on the teamImplementing, building, and modifying the applicationCollaborating with key stakeholders, end-users, and application team members to optimize the application’s configuration, function, and accessProviding day-to-day application support and resolving application issuesTravel to the job site during go-lives, conferences, rounding, and/or senior leadership meetingsSkillsBachelor's degree in relevant fieldMinimum 3 years of relevant experience preferably in healthcare or healthcare-related organizationEpic certification in relevant field requiredAbility to communicate effectively in both oral and written formAbility to maintain effective interpersonal relationshipsAbility to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problemsAbility to lead, motivate, develop and train othersProficiency in computer software (i.e. Microsoft Office)Commitment to the University's core valuesUnderstanding of duplicate patient management processes preferredBenefitsCompetitive salariesA comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, tuition remission and moreCompany OverviewAt UM you'll join a diverse and energized academic community.
