The role involves driving new business acquisition, managing complex enterprise sales cycles, and engaging with senior executives across Fortune 2000 companies to solve strategic business challenges through innovative SaaS solutions.ResponsibilitiesDrive end-to-end sales cycles from qualified opportunity through contract signatureDevelop and execute territory and account plans to penetrate target enterprise accountsGenerate, qualify, and convert opportunities into revenueConsistently achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targetsLead discovery conversations with business and executive stakeholdersUnderstand customer business challenges and align solutions to strategic objectivesCoordinate with Solution Consulting, Product Management, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership teams throughout the sales processBuild compelling business cases and value propositions for executive decision-makersNavigate complex buying committees and multi-stakeholder environmentsEstablish relationships with Director, VP, and C-level executivesIdentify opportunities for expansion and cross-functional engagement within target accountsMaintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM hygieneManage long and complex enterprise sales cyclesConduct negotiations and commercial discussionsPrepare and present proposals, executive presentations, and strategic account plansProvide accurate forecasting and pipeline updates to sales leadershipSkills7–12 years of B2B sales experienceMust have started career in one of the following: Business Development Representative (BDR), Sales Development Representative (SDR), Inside Sales Representative, Lead Generation RepresentativeDemonstrated progression into Account Executive or Closing Sales rolesMinimum 3–5 years of quota-carrying closing experienceExperience selling SaaS, Software, Cloud, Technology, or Enterprise SolutionsProven track record of exceeding revenue quotasMust have experience selling 250K USD plus ARR deal sizeStrong prospecting and hunting capabilityExperience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholdersAbility to engage executive-level decision makersExcellent discovery, qualification, negotiation, and closing skillsStrong business acumen and consultative selling approachExperience selling to enterprise organizations with revenues exceeding $1BFamiliarity with MEDDICC, Challenger, Command of the Message, or similar sales methodologiesExperience working with US customers and US-based sales teamsExposure to Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, HR Tech, ERP, AI, or Enterprise SaaS solutions is highly preferredCompany OverviewZycus offers a full suite of procurement performance software that delivers spend management solutions.
