Job Overview: As an English Language Arts and Math Tutor, you will be responsible for providing personalized instruction and support to 1st and 2nd grade elementary students in a remote setting. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement tailored lesson plans that meet the unique needs and learning styles of each student.
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality instruction and support to students in English Language Arts and Math
Develop and implement personalized lesson plans that cater to the unique needs and learning styles of each student
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and our office team to ensure seamless delivery of services
Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular session reports
Collaborate with our team to ensure the highest level of service and support for our students and families
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in the education field, preferably in a tutoring or teaching role
Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including ADD, ADHD, and Dyslexia
Familiarity with the Heggerty Teaching Method (https://heggerty.org/curriculum/)
Strong administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively
Reliable transportation, current car insurance, and access to a computer, internet, and smartphone
