[Remote] Engineering Project Manager

Redbock, an NES Fircroft company, is seeking an Engineering Program Manager for a 12-month contract focused on Manufacturing Execution System (MES) implementation. The role involves leading cross-functional teams, managing project execution, and ensuring alignment with business priorities and operational standards.ResponsibilitiesProvide overall program leadership and governance for MES initiatives, defining objectives, success metrics, operating cadence, and escalation pathsPlan, execute, and monitor MES projects from initiation through delivery, owning integrated schedules, dependencies, risks, and outcomes across cross‑functional and departmental teamsServe as the primary liaison between project teams, site leadership, functional partners, and vendors to ensure alignment, transparency, and timely decision‑makingManage financial and resource aspects of the program, including budgets, forecasts, SOW execution, vendor performance, and efficient allocation of internal resourcesAssess complex, ambiguous project issues and develop effective resolutions to meet productivity, quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction objectivesLead risk, issue, and change management activities, ensuring adoption readiness and adherence to PMO, quality, and enterprise standardsProvide clear, concise project status reporting and executive‑level insights on progress, risks, and financialsDrive continuous improvement by strengthening delivery processes, tools, and consistency of execution, capturing lessons learned to improve future initiativesSkillsExperience with Manufacturing Execution System (MES) implementation projects, ideally with exposure to utilizing BPCS ERPExperience with Program-level Management, including budgeting and project planningExperience transferring from paper-based records to eDHRExperience assessing and planning for potential project risksBachelor's degree required5+ years in Program and Project ManagementExperience managing a Manufacturing Execution System implementation projectAdditional experience with ERP, eQMS, or similar Enterprise IT system would be idealPractical experience leading and managing the execution of projects and operational initiatives within a technical or professional disciplineAdvanced knowledge and skills in project or program management with an understanding of downstream impacts across the organizationExperience with using or ideally implementing Critical Manufacturing MESBPCS ERP experienceExperience with paper-on-glass approach to document digitizationSAP experiencePlanisware experienceCompany OverviewRedbock is a consultancy that delivers customized resourcing solutions to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and diagnostics companies.
