The role involves supporting the Siemens Opcenter manufacturing application to enhance and sustain compliant manufacturing processes within the medical device segment, while collaborating with technical teams and ensuring adherence to regulatory frameworks.ResponsibilitiesSupport delivery and ongoing enhancement of Siemens Opcenter Manufacturing Execution capabilities, including (but not limited to) electronic work instructions, equipment management, material management, genealogy/traceability, and process enforcementAssist in the implementation and sustainment of a global enterprise Opcenter solution, ensuring consistency across sitesBuild strong business partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional and technical teamsGather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, technical specifications, and validation documentationWork with onshore/offshore development teams to execute configuration, customization, and solution deliveryCollaborate with enterprise architecture, quality, and IT teams to ensure successful project executionUtilize SQL Server (experience with Oracle or other databases helpful) for queries, data analysis, and troubleshootingUnderstand and operate within regulatory validation frameworks applicable to medical device manufacturing (e.g., FDA, GxP, 21 CFR Part 11)Configure and customize Opcenter MES modules, workflows, data collections, integration points, and UI elementsSkillsBachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience5+ years of experience in software engineering, MES, or related technical disciplineExperience with Siemens Opcenter (Camstar) configuration, architecture, and implementationStrong SQL Server experience; familiarity with Oracle, DB2, or similar database technologiesExperience validating and documenting MES configurations or equivalent regulated system implementations within a GxP/medical device environmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsWorking knowledge of two or more relevant technologies (MES, ERP, integration platforms, SQL, etc.)BenefitsMedical, dental and vision coveragePaid time off planHealth savings account (HSA)401k savings planAccess to wages before pay day with myFlexPayFlexible spending accounts (FSAs)Short- and long-term disability coverageWork-Life resourcesPaid parental leaveHealthy lifestyle programsCompany OverviewCardinal Health is a manufacturer and distributor of medical and laboratory products.
