They are looking for a Junior Energy Engineer to support the development and delivery of energy efficiency programs through engineering calculations, measurement and verification, and technical design assistance.ResponsibilitiesSupports the development and delivery of energy efficiency programs by providing engineering calculations, measurement and verification, and utility program technical design and assistanceLeads design and development of technical strategies, conducts analysis to inform and recommend energy savings, and develops plans and provides reporting that contributes to the success of client programsProvides general project oversight, quality control/assurance, and continuously informs customers and project team of updates and necessary adjustmentsWith technical oversight, support energy assessments and field work directly with customers and contractorsCalculate energy savings for projects in our programs using standard engineering principles including physics, mechanics, electrical, thermodynamics, mathematics, and statisticsParticipate in energy audits to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvementsSupport development of measures characteristics for program planning and BD efforts, with technical oversightUnderstand building energy end uses and energy impacts of industrial processesSupport analysis of energy efficiency projects using various tools and softwarePrioritize safety in all actions and tasksBecome familiar with the energy efficiency industry, industry trends, regulations and best practices related to energy efficiency and sustainabilitySkills0-3+ years' experienceBS Engineering degreeCalculate energy savings for projects in our programs using standard engineering principles including physics, mechanics, electrical, thermodynamics, mathematics, and statisticsParticipate in energy audits to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvementsSupport development of measures characteristics for program planning and BD efforts, with technical oversightUnderstand building energy end uses and energy impacts of industrial processesSupport analysis of energy efficiency projects using various tools and softwarePrioritize safety in all actions and tasksBecome familiar with the energy efficiency industry, industry trends, regulations and best practices related to energy efficiency and sustainabilityMS Office, extensive knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and WordCandidates must be located in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan to be consideredCLEAResult will not provide sponsorship or support for immigration status or work authorization including for international students.
