[Remote] Employee Benefit New Business Coordinator, Select

USI Insurance Services is one of the largest insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the world, and they are seeking an Employee Benefit New Business Coordinator to support small employee benefits sales and account management teams. The role involves assisting with the onboarding of new business cases, maintaining accuracy in management systems, and establishing effective working relationships with internal partners and clients.ResponsibilitiesAssist with the onboarding of recent salesWork with Select producers and operations team leader/implementation specialistFacilitate the transfer of recent sales from the producers to the appropriate operations team memberServe as the subject matter expert for producers on new client implementation forms and processesAssist with the preparation of needed materials for submission of new business to insurance carriersIncludes completing submissions to carrier partners as neededRequest information from new clients and carriers and create internal filesMaintain a high degree of accuracy in agency management and document management systemsRequest and monitor new business missing information from clients, producers, and carriersVerify accuracy of commissions on new business casesEnsure accurate and timely response to all outstanding issuesEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with internal partners, clients, and carriersSkillsEntry-level position, ideally minimum one year EB / Insurance related experienceIdeally will hold Health, Life and Disability insurance license or be willing to obtain in agreed time frameAbility to set priorities and manage deadlinesComfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office productsDetail oriented and prioritizes accuracyAbility to work independently and in a team environmentEager to learn new concepts and further professional developmentOpen to feedback and coachingAbility to define problems and generate potential solutionsCollege degree preferredCustomer service experience preferredKnowledge of BenefitPoint and ImageRight preferredBenefitsMedicalWellnessDentalVision401(k)Flexible spending and health savings accountsShort and long-term disabilityLife insurancePaid time off policyPaid family leave benefitPaid holiday timeCompany OverviewUSI Insurance Services is an insurance brokerage and consulting firm that delivers diversified insurance and financial services.
