Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. WSP is seeking an EHV EPC Project Manager (Power Delivery) for their Power & Energy Program Management Office. This role involves high-level technical project leadership, overseeing the execution of high-voltage transmission EPC projects from development through to closeout while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and communicate with all levels of management and disciplines throughout the project life cycle to support project cost and schedule objectives, both internally and within the client’s systemsLead the development of project proposals, cost estimates, scope, schedules, and resource plansOversee management of budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, cost and change management and controlProvide regular project reporting and updates to clients, technical leads, and business leaders, identifying any emergent issues with scope, risk, and/or budget and mitigation strategiesBe the face of WSP for the client. Develop and nurture strong, long-term relationships with client by understanding their needs, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring consistent communication to drive satisfaction and retentionAdherence to proven processes and ability to develop new processes to standardize proceduresAdhere to safety regulations and enforce project safety standardsExercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and proceduresPerform additional responsibilities as required by business needsSkillsBachelor's degree (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Project Management or Construction Management), Engineering Technology, Physical Sciences, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience within an A/E/C firm, utility, EPC, or power delivery consulting environment10+ years of relevant post education experience in a project management role within our industry3+ years of EHV transmission level voltage project experience (115kV up to 500kV)Cradle to grave EPC project management experience for transmission level voltageHighly proficient understanding of project delivery process and strong background and experience in project management.
