This role involves partnering with finance leadership and stakeholders to prioritize enhancements and maximize the value of the D365 platform while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain a strategic roadmap for the Dynamics 365 Finance platformEvaluate competing business priorities and translate them into a structured product backlogSupport enterprise modernization efforts, including ERP transformation programs and migration from legacy applicationsDrive platform decisions that improve scalability, governance, and long-term business valueAnalyze end-to-end financial and operational workflows to identify process improvement opportunitiesCollaborate with stakeholders to define future-state business requirements and corresponding D365 solutionsEnsure system capabilities effectively support key business functions, including: Financial Close and Reporting, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Asset Lifecycle ManagementRecommend configuration changes and process enhancements that improve efficiency, visibility, and controlConvert business objectives into actionable requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteriaPartner with implementation teams, developers, and solution architects to deliver enhancements and new functionalityParticipate in Agile planning activities and help prioritize development efforts based on business impactValidate delivered solutions and ensure they meet defined business outcomesServe as a trusted advisor to finance leaders and cross-functional business partnersFacilitate communication between accounting, treasury, FP&A, audit, operations, and technical teamsCoordinate with external consultants and implementation partners during project executionBuild alignment among stakeholders regarding priorities, scope, and solution directionSupport users through system changes, upgrades, and new feature releasesPromote user adoption through training, documentation, and process guidanceMonitor system effectiveness and identify opportunities for ongoing optimizationChampion best practices for ERP governance and operational excellenceDemonstrate a commitment to collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvementMaintain awareness of emerging D365 capabilities and industry trendsSupport compliance, risk management, and internal policy requirementsContribute to special projects and other responsibilities as assignedSkills8+ years of experience across finance operations, ERP programs, business analysis, or enterprise systems deliveryAt least 4 years of hands-on experience implementing or supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and OperationsProven ability to influence senior finance stakeholders and guide system strategy decisionsExperience leading requirements gathering, solution design, and backlog prioritization activitiesStrong expertise within D365 Finance modules, including: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash and Bank Management, Financial ReportingUnderstanding of financial governance, audit readiness, and compliance requirementsFamiliarity with approval workflows, segregation-of-duty principles, and ERP control frameworksExperience operating within Agile delivery environmentsAbility to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution and issue resolutionExceptional communication and facilitation skillsAbility to translate complex technical concepts into clear business languageStrong relationship-building skills with both executive and operational stakeholdersWorking knowledge of supply chain, manufacturing, or related operational processesCompany OverviewMicrosoft Dynamics job board and monthly episodic open dialogue web series featuring leaders in the Microsoft Dynamics space. www.dynamicsdoor.com It was founded in 2021, and is headquartered in Austin, Texas, US, with a workforce of 0-1 employees.
