OverviewNational Consumer Law CenterHybrid/Boston, MassachusettsLindauer is pleased to partner with the National Consumer Law Center in their search for a Publisher.The National Consumer Law Center (NCLC), the preeminent advocate for low-income consumers in the United States, seeks an experienced professional to join the NCLC management team as the Publisher. NCLC publications are definitive sources of information for today’s consumer advocates, including 4,000 current subscribers. As NCLC expands access and engagement with its critical resources, the Publisher will ensure the organization harnesses the latest publishing trends and successfully navigates a rapidly changing digital environment. Reporting to the Executive Director and overseeing a fully remote unit of eight team members, the Publisher will make key strategic decisions that shape the direction and focus of the publications program. Responsibilities Develop the overall vision and direction for the publications program. Engage with consumer law practitioners through conferences and other events to better understand their needs and challenges. Supervise the Publications Operations Manager and the Director of Editorial and Production. Oversee the creation and production of all print and electronic materials, including legal treatises and books for advocates.
