[Remote] DOT Compliance Administrator

SOLV Energy is a leading provider of infrastructure services to the power industry, and they are seeking a DOT Compliance Administrator. This role is responsible for maintaining all DOT-related Driver Compliance Efforts and assisting with Fleet-related tasks.ResponsibilitiesAdminister/Monitor company’s Preferred Drivers Program (MVR)Coordinate quarterly mandatory drug testing with DOTMaintain quarterly mandatory drug testing filesMaintenance and distribution of compliance training materialsCoordinate trainings (both online and in person) with DOT Compliance Manager and Corporate Training TeamRecording in-person training attendees in EMSAssist Fleet Supervisor with full life-cycle management of heavy-duty (DOT) vehicles from acquisitions and distribution (including licensing, weight stickers, decaling and installation of upfits) through to disposalsCoordinate inspections required to maintain compliance with company policy and state/federal regulationsAssists Fleet Supervisor to ensure annual registration and licensing is in compliance with company policy and state/federal guidelinesAssist Fleet Supervisor to engage field teams to enter/update fleet assignments and locations weeklyMonitor and flag annual vehicle inspections/certifications and takes the appropriate actions necessary to ensure complianceWork with HR to review and report on conformance/non-conformance of driver records (via Preferred Drives Program) including drivers’ abstracts, licensesEnsures compliance with DOT policiesResponsible for generating DOT-Compliance-related reports for HR, Executive Leadership Team and Corporate PartnersAssists Risk Management with the process of recording all accidents involving fleet vehiclesActively looks for gaps in vehicle, driver documentation and uses thought logic to correct discrepanciesOther duties as requiredSkills1+ years of experience in a Fleet, Equipment or related coordination roleExperience with reporting and tracking using Excel is an assetExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsDemonstrated ability to work independently with an ability to research and solve problemsHave a basic understanding of DOT regulations and their applications is an assetMust have and maintain a valid driver's license and clean drivers abstractSuccessful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol requirementsBenefitsMedicalDentalVisionBasic life and disability insurance401(k) planVacationSick and holiday payCompany OverviewSOLV Energy offers engineering procurement construction, operations, maintenance, technology and services.
