Pathology Transcriptionist

Accurately transcribe and document diagnostic test results for patients in a timely manner.
Work closely with pathologists to ensure accuracy and completeness of pathology reports.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with the utmost care.
Utilize strong typing skills and medical terminology knowledge to produce error-free reports.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure proper documentation and communication of test results.
Adhere to established procedures and standards to maintain consistency and quality in reports.
Identify and report any discrepancies or errors in test results to pathologists.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology and procedures to accurately transcribe reports.
Assist with data entry and record keeping to maintain organized and efficient documentation.
Communicate effectively with team members and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient workflow and patient care.
Attend training and educational sessions to improve skills and stay updated on industry changes.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service when interacting with patients and colleagues.
Take initiative to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy in report documentation.
Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations and protocols.
