Rapid Wheelchair & Stretcher Transport provides compassionate and reliable non-emergency medical transportation to seniors and individuals with mobility challenges. Our team ensures patients arrive safely and on time for medical appointments, dialysis treatments, and essential outings.
We are seeking a dependable, experienced Remote Dispatcher to oversee daily operations and support our drivers. This is a leadership-level dispatcher role. On your scheduled days, you will be the primary point of coordination and decision-making.
Schedule Structure – Please Read Carefully
This position follows a rotating two-week schedule shared between two dispatchers.
Schedule (2-Week Rotation)
Week 1 (38 hours):
Monday 8 AM – 7 PM
Tuesday 8 AM – 7 PM
Saturday 9 AM – 6 PM
Sunday 11 AM – 6 PM
Week 2 (33 hours):
Wednesday 8 AM – 7 PM
Thursday 8 AM – 7 PM
Friday 8 AM – 7 PM
Schedule rotates every 2 weeks.
Important:
• Weekend coverage is shared and rotates every other week between two dispatchers.
• You will work every other weekend.
• You will have every other weekend completely off.
• Average weekly hours are approximately 35–36 hours.
• This is a consistent part-time position with a predictable rotation.
What You’ll Do
• Oversee daily dispatch operations
• Assign and coordinate patient trips
• Support and guide drivers
• Monitor schedules and GPS tracking
• Adjust routes and schedules in real time
• Communicate professionally with facilities and families
• Maintain accurate trip documentation
What We’re Looking For
• Previous dispatch or operations experience
• Leadership mindset and accountability
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Clear and professional communication
• Comfortable using dispatch software and technology
• Ability to work independently and take ownership
Experience in non-emergency medical transportation is a plus, but not required.
