[Remote] Director, Strategy and Operations

They are seeking a Therapeutic Strategy and Operational Director for North America to drive operational strategy and execution for cardiometabolic clinical trials, ensuring high-quality project delivery and fostering client partnerships.ResponsibilitiesLead the development of client relationships and support implementation of preferred provider programsCollaborate with Business Development and functional leaders to develop operational strategies aligned with client needsSupport business development activities including RFP review, budgets, and proposalsOversee execution of clinical projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality expectationsRecruit and manage Clinical Project Managers in North America as neededProvide leadership and support to project teamsSupport contracting activities including negotiation of agreements and budgetsParticipate in and lead client meetings, bid defenses, and governance forumsIdentify and drive operational improvementsSupport business growth and client expansion initiativesProvide senior-level project oversight and governanceTravel domestically and internationally as required (~25%)Skills5 years of global Clinical Project Management experienceExperience developing operational strategies for clinical trialsStrong background in cardiometabolic clinical trialsExperience working with Sponsors and CROsKnowledge of budgets, contracting, GCP, and ICH guidelinesLeadership experience on large-scale projectsStrong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience in a high growth environmentAbility to work independently while contributing to a teamFlexible and adaptable approach to workStrong organizational skills and attention to detailClient-focused mindset with commitment to qualityCompany OverviewJulius Clinical specializes in distinct therapeutic areas that offer a full-service proposal or separate functional service.
