This role involves leading financial strategy, M&A initiatives, capital planning, and enterprise financial modeling, while serving as a key business partner to the executive leadership team.ResponsibilitiesLead corporate development initiatives including M&A sourcing, financial evaluation, due diligence, valuation analysis, and integration planningDevelop acquisition models, synergy analyses, accretion/dilution models, and investment committee presentationsEvaluate strategic partnerships, new market opportunities, and growth investmentsConduct industry, competitor, and market analysis within the debt settlement, fintech, and financial services sectorsPresent strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board membersBuild, maintain, and enhance sophisticated three-statement financial models (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement)Develop integrated operating models supporting revenue forecasting, customer acquisition, servicing operations, and cash flow planningCreate scenario analyses, sensitivity models, and stress-testing frameworksBuild long-range financial plans (3–5 years) to support strategic decision-makingDevelop KPI dashboards and financial performance tracking systemsLead enterprise cash flow forecasting and working capital managementMonitor liquidity positions and develop short-term and long-term cash planning modelsOptimize capital deployment and operating cash conversionIdentify opportunities to improve cash generation, margin expansion, and operational efficiencyPartner with treasury and accounting teams to improve cash forecasting accuracySupport debt financing transactions, refinancing initiatives, and lender negotiationsBuild models evaluating debt structures, covenant compliance, and capital optimization strategiesPrepare lender reporting packages and financing presentationsAnalyze funding alternatives and capital structure scenariosManage relationships with banks, lenders, and capital providersOwn annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processesDeliver monthly executive financial reviews highlighting performance against planDevelop actionable insights from financial and operational dataDrive forecasting accuracy across revenue, expenses, profitability, and cash flowSupport strategic planning initiatives across departmentsPrepare board-level financial presentations and strategic analysesDevelop KPI reporting packages for executive leadershipTranslate complex financial information into clear business recommendationsSupport investor, lender, and stakeholder communicationAnalyze settlement portfolio performance, enrollment trends, client retention, and settlement ratesEvaluate profitability by channel, program, and customer cohortBuild forecasting models related to settlement timing, creditor behavior, and program outcomesPartner with operations and sales leadership to optimize business performanceSupport regulatory and compliance-driven financial analysesSkillsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fieldMBA, CFA, or similar advanced credentials preferred8–12+ years of progressive experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, strategic finance, or FP&A leadershipPrior experience within financial services, fintech, consumer finance, debt settlement, lending, restructuring, or related industries strongly preferredAdvanced expertise in three-statement financial modeling and valuation methodologiesExtensive M&A transaction experience, including due diligence, valuation, negotiations, and integration planningStrong understanding of cash flow management, capital structure, debt financing, and liquidity planningExperience preparing executive, board, and lender presentationsAdvanced Excel and financial modeling capabilitiesFormer Investment Banking Associate, Vice President, Director, or Managing DirectorExperience in leveraged finance, restructuring, financial services, or specialty finance sectorsBackground supporting private equity-backed or high-growth organizationsExperience leading strategic finance functions through rapid scaling and acquisition activityDemonstrated ability to influence executive decision-making through financial analysisCompany OverviewClearOne Advantage is a debt management firm.
