Market Research Consultant

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Market Research Consultant for a Remote position located in Ridgefield, CT. This is a 7+ month contract opportunity Summary: The Market Research Consultant will have primary responsibility for all aspects of market research and business analyses for assigned brands. This role involves developing research plans, executing studies, analyzing syndicated data, and clearly communicating insights and recommendations to support marketing clients and senior leadership within a major pharmaceutical company. Responsibilities: • Identify market research (MR) needs for the business for immediate and multi-year planning • Develop MR plans leveraging appropriate research methodologies to fill those needs • Design, execute, and interpret MR studies and communicate the insights and recommendations • Serve as the subject matter expert on past, current, and potential insights needed for the product/project • Analyze and report syndicated, secondary market data for performance measurement and market understanding • Utilize a full spectrum of survey insights and syndicated data to answer complex business questions • Support and guide analytical business questions for projects run by other colleagues • Work with vendors to ensure each project is aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements • Manage all work within the specified overall budget • Coordinate and collaborate with other Analytics & Insights co-workers to deliver unified support • Lead without authority in a complex organization • Actively participate in planning sessions and influence the direction of marketing plans, strategies, and tactics Requirements: • Bachelor's degree required • Minimum of 10 years working within a large product marketing corporation in a market research role • Minimum of 10 years working in support of pharmaceutical brand marketing research • In-depth knowledge of all qualitative and quantitative market research techniques • Demonstrated experience managing the regulatory and ethical requirements of pharmaceutical market research and data protection • High level skills with Microsoft Office (PPT, Outlook, Word, Excel) • Must be a US based worker • Ability to work during Eastern Time Zone business hours Desired skills: • Experience with cardiology and primary care specialist marketing • Experience with cardiac and/or diabetic conditions Pay range: up to $96.42 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) employees will be considered for this position.
