They are seeking a high-energy, relationship-first Director of Sales to drive growth across emerging and mid-market dealership customers in the central US, focusing on building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.ResponsibilitiesDrive high-volume outbound sales activity to build and maintain a healthy pipeline of smaller dealership groups, specifically targeting dealerships under 50 rooftopsProspect relentlessly through calls, emails, social outreach, events, and referrals to generate new opportunitiesBuild strong relationships quickly with dealer principals, GMs, sales managers, service leaders, and training champions—earning trust through credibility and consistencyRun a consultative sales process by uncovering dealership pain points, aligning RockED to operational goals, and clearly communicating ROIOwn the full sales cycle from first contact through close, including demos, proposals, negotiation, and launch handoffLeverage networking and channel strategies to create warm entry points into new dealerships and accelerate deal velocityMaintain disciplined follow-up and forecasting using CRM activity, pipeline hygiene, and clear next steps for every opportunityPartner cross-functionally with Customer Success and Content to ensure smooth onboarding and set up customers for long-term successIdentify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and proactively drive renewals and upsellsRepresent the RockED brand externally with high professionalism at dealer meetings, events, and industry gatheringsSkills5+ years of experience in B2B sales, and must come with automotive experienceProven success in high-volume outbound sales roles where activity, resilience, and pipeline generation are criticalStrong networking skills and ability to build relationships rapidly across a wide range of dealership stakeholdersComfortable managing many smaller accounts simultaneously, with high attention to detail and urgencyConfident, persuasive communicator who can be consultative in discovery but aggressive and persistent in outreachTrack record of hitting or exceeding targets in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environmentStrong organizational habits, CRM discipline, and ability to prioritize daily actions that drive revenueFamiliarity with dealership operations, training challenges, and performance levers is a strong plusMUST HAVE AUTOMOTIVE SAAS EXPERIENCEBenefitsFull-time roleRemote role requiring frequent travelHybrid roleCompany OverviewRockED is the premier automotive training and people development platform built to drive dealership performance.
