[Remote] Director of Retail Marketing

The Director of Retail Marketing will oversee client partnerships and internal team management, focusing on integrated retail media and shopper marketing programs across major retail platforms.ResponsibilitiesOwn omnichannel growth strategy across retail media and shopper marketing initiatives for a portfolio of CPG clientsLead, mentor, and develop a team of 6 Account Managers and Associates, providing strategic guidance and career development supportServe as the senior strategic lead across assigned client accounts and business portfoliosGuide teams on platform strategy and best practices across Instacart, Walmart Connect, Kroger Precision Marketing, Target/Roundel, Amazon DSP, DoorDash, Criteo, CitrusAd/Epsilon, and related retail media platformsBuild and maintain senior-level client relationships, acting as a trusted strategic advisor to brand and marketing leadership teamsEnsure retail media, digital commerce, and in-store shopper marketing efforts work cohesively to drive measurable business impactOversee forecasting, pricing, scoping, profitability, reporting, budget allocation, and margin management across accountsProvide hands-on support to teams when needed while maintaining a primary focus on leadership, strategy, and client oversightPartner cross-functionally with internal teams to support agency growth, operational excellence, and client retentionSkills6+ years of experience in retail media, shopper marketing, omnichannel marketing, eCommerce, or related CPG agency/client services environments3–5+ years of people management experience leading high-performing client-facing teamsStrong working knowledge of major retail media platforms including Kroger, Walmart Connect, Roundel, Instacart, Amazon DSP, DoorDash, Criteo, and Citrus/EpsilonProven ability to lead strategic client relationships and communicate effectively with senior and executive stakeholdersComfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving agency environment with shifting priorities and growing client needsExperience supporting emerging, natural, wellness, or Better For You CPG brands strongly preferredAgency experience preferred; strong brand-side candidates with hands-on retail media expertise may also be consideredCompany OverviewForceBrands is a staffing and recruiting company providing food, beverage, and beauty professionals.
