They are seeking a Director of Performance Marketing to lead their global performance marketing program, driving measurable growth across various channels. The role involves developing strategies, overseeing budgets, and collaborating cross-functionally to maximize performance and efficiency.ResponsibilitiesOwn and operate Scribe’s global performance marketing program across all performance channels, including Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, and others, driving measurable, efficient customer growthDevelop and execute the holistic performance marketing strategy, setting vision, testing priorities, and investment frameworks that align to company-level growth goalsDefine and drive the tactics that brings your strategy to life, using deep expertise and first-principles thinking to identify, prioritize, and scale the channels, approaches, and tactics that will get us to our growth goalsOwn and oversee channel performance and budget pacing, continuously optimizing toward efficiency and return on investment while unlocking new opportunities for growthPartner cross-functionally on measurement, forecasting, and modeling, working closely with the marketing analytics, finance, and growth teams to translate company objectives into clear media plans, spend allocations, and growth scenarios that guide decision-making and ensure alignment with business targetsBuild and mentor a high-impact team, developing future leaders and establishing best practices in media buying, measurement, and experimentationSkills7-10+ years of experience in performance marketing and performance marketing strategy, with at least 2 years leading multi-channel programs at scale ($100M+ annual spend)3+ years of experience managing and developing teams of media buyers, analysts, or channel specialistsProven success building and scaling integrated performance marketing programs across Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, and other growth platformsDeep expertise in performance measurement and attribution, including MMM, geo testing, incrementality studies, and experimentation frameworksStrong grasp of media buying mechanics, creative optimization, and auction dynamics across platforms — understanding how creative, targeting, and bidding strategies drive performance across platformsAdvanced quantitative and analytical background, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into clear insights, strategic recommendations, and measurable business impactA bias toward action, experimentation, and continuous improvement — with a track record of unlocking meaningful growth at scaleBenefitsSome of the nicest and smartest teammates you’ll ever work withCompetitive salariesComprehensive healthcare benefitsEquity in a hypergrowth startupFlexible PTO401kParental LeaveCommuter Benefits (SF office employees)WFH StipendCompany OverviewScribe offers a workflow AI platform helps organizations capture and optimize how work gets done.
