The Director of Financial Services will oversee global treasury and payroll functions, ensuring effective cash management, financial risk mitigation, and compliance in payroll operations to support the organization’s mission.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement financial services strategies that align with the organization’s mission and global operationsProvide strategic guidance on liquidity, treasury operations, and payroll complianceManage global cash flow, liquidity planning, and intercompany funding strategiesMaintain strong banking relationships and oversee treasury systems and controlsEnsure compliance with donor requirements, internal policies, and international regulationsOversee the organization’s investment portfolio to ensure alignment with financial goals and risk toleranceCollaborate with investment advisors and internal stakeholders to develop and implement investment strategiesMonitor investment performance and ensure compliance with investment policies and regulatory requirementsLead and mentor a global financial services team, fostering a culture of integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvementProvide training and support to regional finance and HR teams on treasury mattersSkillsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA, CPA, or equivalent preferred10+ years of progressive experience in financial services, with significant leadership in treasury, payroll, and investment operationsStrong understanding of investment strategies, and treasury best practicesProficiency in financial systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, SAP, Kyriba)Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skillsCertified Treasury Professional (CTP)Experience in a global not-for-profit or mission-driven organizationCompany OverviewCARE is a leading international humanitarian organization.
