The role involves managing finance and accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and driving continuous improvement in financial processes.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all day-to-day Finance and Accounting operations, including general accounting, treasury, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reportingOwn the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements and reportingManage cash flow forecasting, working capital reporting, banking activities, and liquidity planningOversee cost accounting processes, inventory valuation, standard costing, and manufacturing variance analysis across a multi-site manufacturing environmentSupport the annual operating plan (AOP), quarterly forecasting processes, and monthly financial performance reviewsDevelop, improve, and maintain financial reporting, KPI reporting, and operational analysis to support decision-making across the businessDrive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting accuracy, internal controls, and overall Finance function efficiencyPartner closely with operations, procurement, supply chain, and commercial leadership teams to improve cost visibility, margin performance, and operational disciplineLead external audit coordination, tax support activities, and compliance-related financial processesOversee ERP financial processes and support continued optimization of SAP reporting and workflowsDevelop and mentor Finance team members while building scalable organizational capability within the Finance functionEnsure strong internal controls and compliance with company policies and accounting standardsSupport capital investment analysis, inventory management initiatives, and operational improvement projects as neededSkillsMinimum of 8–10 years of progressively increasing Finance and Accounting leadership experience within a manufacturing environmentStrong background in manufacturing accounting, cost accounting, inventory management, standard costing, and operational financeExperience leading monthly close processes, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury activities, and audit coordinationStrong SAP experience within a manufacturing environment is required, including hands-on experience with financial reporting, costing, inventory accounting, and operational finance processesStrong understanding of internal controls, process improvement, and financial discipline within a growing organizationDemonstrated ability to lead teams, improve processes, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across operations, supply chain, commercial, and leadership teamsBachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or related field requiredMulti-site manufacturing experience strongly preferredMBA preferredCompany OverviewHaydon Corporation is a US-owned, US-based national manufacturer of high-quality metal framing, rooftop support, and baseboard heating systems for various commercial, residential, infrastructure, and industrial construction applications.
