They are seeking a Director – New Business Development in Media & Entertainment to drive strategic revenue growth by acquiring new clients and building relationships within the industry.ResponsibilitiesDrive new logo acquisition and revenue growth within the Media & Entertainment verticalDevelop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with organizational growth objectivesIdentify, qualify, and pursue large-scale business opportunities and enterprise accountsBuild and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities to exceed annual revenue targetsLead the end-to-end sales cycle, including prospecting, solution positioning, proposal development, negotiations, and contract executionEstablish and nurture C-level and senior executive relationships across target accountsAct as a trusted advisor to clients on business transformation, digital innovation, and industry trendsDevelop executive sponsorship programs to strengthen long-term client engagementAnalyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities within the Media & Entertainment sectorIdentify new market segments, partnerships, and strategic growth initiativesRepresent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and executive forumsPartner with marketing, solution consulting, delivery, product, and customer success teams to develop winning strategiesLead pursuit teams for large and strategic opportunitiesMentor and guide sales professionals on enterprise hunting and deal strategyContribute to go-to-market planning and vertical growth initiativesMaintain accurate pipeline management and forecastingProvide regular business updates and strategic insights to executive leadershipEnsure CRM compliance and sales process disciplineSkillsBachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field15–20+ years of enterprise sales and business development experience8+ years of experience selling into Media & Entertainment organizationsDemonstrated success in acquiring and growing strategic enterprise accountsProven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding multi-million-dollar revenue targetsExperience leading complex, consultative sales engagements involving multiple stakeholdersStrong executive presence with the ability to influence C-suite decision-makersMBA or equivalent advanced business qualificationExisting executive network within media, broadcasting, streaming, gaming, advertising, sports, and entertainment sectorsExperience selling technology services, digital transformation, cloud, data & AI, cybersecurity, SaaS, consulting, or managed servicesDeep understanding of OTT, content production, media supply chains, digital advertising, audience analytics, and emerging media technologiesCompany OverviewHappiest Minds provides IT services focused on cloud computing, social media, mobility solutions, BI, analytics, and unified communications.
