[Remote] Director, Finance Business Partner, Commercial - US

The Director, Finance Business Partner - Commercial will lead pricing execution and ensure economic integrity across Nscale’s US operations, translating business strategy into executable financial outcomes.ResponsibilitiesOwn pricing execution for US commercial transactionsOperate and maintain the US implementation of Nscale’s global pricing engineEnsure a single source of truth for pricing assumptions and cost stack inputsApply and enforce margin guardrails and pricing governanceLead repricing mechanics (chip transitions, contractual uplifts, product / design evolution)Prevent model duplication and assumption fragmentation across stakeholdersLead economic feasibility analysis for US transactions, ensuring deals are viable, financeable, and contractually alignedPartner with Strategy on complex transactions and new monetisation models (e.g. token-based inference pricing), supplying the economic foundation for structuringQuantify funding and working capital requirements, assessing advance payment structures, and margin risk under different financing scenariosSupport customer negotiations by articulating cost assumptions and economic rationaleEnsure back-to-back alignment across customer, Colo, OEM, and financing arrangementsQuantify SLA exposure and delay-related cost impacts to inform deployment prioritisation and capital allocationTranslate infrastructure capacity inputs into commercial inventory availabilityEnsure pricing assumptions reflect GPU allocation realities and infrastructure constraintsPartner with AI Capacity Planning to align deployment timing with revenue expectationsProvide economic drivers supporting integrated business planning and capital efficiencyProvide commercial economic drivers into FP&A forecasting and planningAlign pipeline economics with revenue, margin, and capital planning expectationsAct as the US Finance authority for deal economics and pricing consistencySupport audit, governance, and commercial commitment oversightSkills6-10+ years in Commercial Finance, Infrastructure Finance, or Strategic Finance within capital-intensive environmentsDeep understanding of unit economics, cost stacks, and deal pricing mechanicsExperience supporting complex, structured commercial transactionsStrong modelling capability combined with commercial judgmentAbility to operate confidently with senior commercial, strategy, and infrastructure leadersThrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments and are comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution as the business evolvesExperience in AI, cloud, hardware, or GPU-based infrastructureBenefitsHighly competitive package (base + equity) with reviews every 12 months.In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for bonus, equity, and/or commission programs.Nscale may offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, flexible paid time off, parental leave, and retirement plan participation.Human-First Flexibility: We treat you as humans first.Our flexible workplace trusts Nscalers to deliver, giving you the autonomy to shape your day around life's moments.Join our thriving remote-first team.Geography is no barrier to impact or connection.We build seamless virtual collaboration, empowering you, wherever you work.Company OverviewNscale builds AI data centers and provides GPU cloud infrastructure that companies use to train, run, and scale large AI models.
