The Director, Enterprise Business Development leads strategic enterprise client acquisition efforts, responsible for identifying and closing large-scale opportunities with leading brands.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a strategic enterprise growth plan focused on acquiring large U.S. enterprise brands with substantial media, creative, commerce, and marketing analytics budgetsProspect, qualify, and close new business opportunities with Fortune 1000 companies and nationally recognized consumer and enterprise brandsLeverage existing relationships within brand marketing organizations, procurement teams, agency ecosystems, and industry partners to generate qualified opportunities and accelerate revenue growthBuild and maintain a healthy pipeline of enterprise opportunities capable of achieving quarterly and annual revenue goalsLead consultative sales engagements focused on integrated marketing solutions spanning media strategy and activation, creative services, commerce marketing, retail media, analytics, customer acquisition, and performance marketingServe as the lead commercial contact throughout the entire sales lifecycle, including prospecting, discovery, pitch development, contract negotiation, and onboardingCollaborate closely with internal leadership, strategy, media, creative, analytics, commerce, and technology teams to develop customized enterprise solutions and compelling new business presentationsRepresent Mindgruve at major industry conferences, executive networking events, agency reviews, and enterprise marketing engagementsMaintain strong awareness of industry trends across media, commerce, AI, data, analytics, retail media, and marketing technology to proactively identify growth opportunitiesEnsure proposed engagements align with operational capabilities, profitability objectives, and long-term client success goalsDeliver accurate pipeline reporting, forecasting, and market intelligence updates to executive leadershipSkills10–12+ years of enterprise business development, agency sales, or strategic partnerships experience within the advertising, media, marketing, or marketing technology industryBachelor's degreeRequired experience in a similar new business or growth role at a large independent agency or holding company agencyProven track record of winning large-scale enterprise accounts and integrated agency relationships with major U.S. brandsStrong network of senior-level marketing, media, commerce, analytics, procurement, and agency decision-makersDeep understanding of the modern media, creative, commerce, retail media, analytics, and performance marketing landscapeExceptional consultative selling, presentation, communication, and negotiation skillsStrong executive presence with the ability to engage effectively with C-suite and senior marketing leadershipEntrepreneurial, highly motivated, and results-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced growth environmentAbility to synthesize media, creative, commerce, and data into unified business solutionsStrong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, with ability to close new business opportunitiesHigh comfort operating in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environmentsAbility to work cross-functionally with strategy, delivery, and technical teamsSuperior presentation and communication skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent leadership and decision-making skillsExceptionally strong analytical and strategic thinking skillsExtremely organized with keen attention to detailCapable of self-managing and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environmentExperience selling integrated agency services and/or data-driven marketing and technology solutions is highly preferredExperience working with or selling alongside AI-driven marketing or data intelligence platforms, preferredBackground spanning both agency services and marketing technology environmentsExisting relationships with major U.S. consumer brand marketers across retail, CPG, financial services, and technology sectorsExperience leading or contributing to formal agency pitch processes for $10M+ accountsBonus points if you're bilingual in Spanish and/or PortugueseBenefitsCompetitive benefits package including medical insurance, dental insurance, and vision insuranceA flexible spending accountVoluntary life and accident plansA 401(k) retirement plan with matchingCompany OverviewMindgruve is a modern media, commerce, and data technology company.
