They are seeking a strategic, data-driven Director of Demand Generation & Growth Marketing to lead pipeline generation and growth marketing, focusing on acquiring, activating, and retaining customers at scale.ResponsibilitiesOwn and execute Oyster's demand generation strategy, driving qualified pipeline across acquisition channels aligned to our ICP and go-to-market motionLead paid media programs across search, social, content syndication, and emerging channels, balancing efficiency with scale and ensuring strong return on marketing spendPartner with Sales and RevOps to define pipeline targets, align on lead quality, and create tight feedback loops between marketing investment and revenue outcomesBuild and optimize audience segmentation and targeting strategies that improve campaign performance and marketing efficiencyOwn digital conversion funnels end-to-end, using experimentation, personalization, and data-driven insights to improve performance at every stageLead a rigorous testing and optimization program across landing pages, website experiences, and key digital touchpointsTranslate customer and behavioral data into actionable improvements that reduce friction and increase conversionOversee lifecycle marketing programs that support customer onboarding, engagement, retention, expansion, and long-term lifetime valueDevelop customer journey strategies that improve activation and reduce churn, in close partnership with Customer Success and ProductBuild segmented, personalized communications that meet customers where they are and drive meaningful engagementEstablish and own the metrics framework for growth marketing: CAC, LTV, ROAS, conversion rates, pipeline velocity, and retentionManage growth budgets with a strong focus on efficient allocation, forecasting accuracy, and performance against business goalsChampion a culture of experimentation, defining hypotheses, designing tests, and translating results into scaled programsBuild, mentor, and develop a high-performing, distributed team of growth and demand generation marketersFoster a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement, where data informs decisions and people are empowered to take ownershipModel inclusive, empathetic leadership that enables your team to do the best work of their careersServe as the growth marketing lead in GTM planning, bringing clear POVs on pipeline health, channel performance, and growth leversPartner closely with Product, Sales, RevOps, Brand, and Analytics teams to align marketing initiatives with broader business objectivesCommunicate performance, priorities, and tradeoffs clearly to senior stakeholders across the organizationSkills8+ years of experience in demand generation, growth marketing, with at least 4 years in a leadership roleProven track record of driving measurable growth in qualified pipeline, customer acquisition, and revenue in a B2B SaaS environmentDeep expertise across paid media, digital marketing, lifecycle marketing, and marketing analyticsStrong command of growth experimentation, conversion rate optimization, and customer journey managementExperience managing significant marketing budgets and optimizing spend against revenue and pipeline targetsProficiency with modern marketing and GTM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, 6sense, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads) and fluency in marketing data and attributionExceptional analytical skills, able to move from data to insight to action with clarity and speedStrong leadership and stakeholder management skills; able to build trust and alignment across functions and time zonesResilient, execution-oriented mindset with a bias for clarity, ownership, and impactCommitment to inclusive leadership and building teams where diverse perspectives drive better resultsA reliable home internet connection and fluency in both written and spoken EnglishBenefitsWork from anywhere: Oyster has no borders or HQ.
