The Campus Director, Clinical Operations (Online) will manage the clinical education team, oversee student placements, and ensure compliance with accreditation requirements.ResponsibilitiesOversees CCRs, CCPs, and operational staff for online programsImplements software platforms and automation of processesCollaborates on preceptorship placement with Professional Placement Regional DirectorsEnsures data integrity for placementsCoordinates student placements and oversees paperwork submission to clinical siteManages incidents reported at sitesResponsible for developing and maintaining annual clinical requests for student clinical placements with identified facilities/providersPlans, coordinates, and manages students assigned to clinical sitesOversees compliance documentation (i.e., student/faculty profiles) is accurate prior to sending to clinical partnerDelivers student/faculty clinical requirements to the siteResponsible for overseeing the input and maintenance of the clinical scheduling software program (e.g. CORE) for student requirements and schedulingOrients students to clinical packets, health and safety requirementsCollaborates with Regional Director of Provider Placement on strategic planning for student placementsCommunicates with clinical partners regarding changes in University scheduleReviews with Registrar projections for clinical placements and student assignments for upcoming termsMonitor students completing clinical rotationsResolves student conflicts / problems in the clinical setting in collaboration with clinical teamGeneral Scope of Responsibilities: Manages staffing for the function, including interviewing, selection, counseling, and evaluation of performance to ensure effective operations and staff engagementExplores enrichment opportunities for staff such as seminars, specialized training and mentorshipsAdheres to College/University policies and procedures and conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the College/University's Code of Ethical Conduct, Compliance Agreement, Sexual Harassment Policy or any of its policies and procedures, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standardsMaintains regular and timely attendance, reports to work as scheduled and as required to meet the needs of the College/University and assures time worked and/or time-off is recorded properlyExercises care, proper use and maintenance of department equipment and supplies and identifies unsafe conditions and makes appropriate adjustmentsMaintains order, cleanliness and safety at workPerforms other duties as assignedSkillsMaster's degree or higher from accredited universityDriver's License5 years of related experience with leadership knowledge in the program field to cultivate a learner-centered environment and to foster excellenceKnowledge in technological support and delivery of program area and servicesKnowledge and evidence of strong supervisory and management skills as applicable to specialized program areaKnowledge of state, federal and local laws/regulations relating to programs, governmental compliance and other regulatory standards such as Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) or other nursing accrediting agencies, WSCUC, and other accreditation standardsExperience with MS OfficeKnowledge of applicable databases and computer application systems to supply the most accurate information, reports and projectionsKnowledgeable of medical community and established relationships with its professional members preferredA minimum of one year prior experience working with or in clinical sites, placing students, and coordinating related documents preferredBenefitsBonus Eligible: YesJob Type: RemoteCompany OverviewWest Coast University is a university offering undergraduate and graduate degrees in nursing and other healthcare disciplines.
