[Remote] Digital Twin Technical Consultant

The Digital Twin Technical Consultant will solve engineering challenges using Emulate3D software, provide technical consultation to clients, and drive adoption of digital engineering tools in a customer-facing sales role.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support during strategic pre-sales engagements, including demos and proof-of-concept modelingBe an expert in digital engineering, representing Emulate3D in customer engagements and internal strategy discussionsLead and contribute to client meetings, pre-sales workshops, and industry events. Manage virtual versus in-person participation as neededDeliver consulting microservices to global clients using Emulate3D and related digital engineering tools, including: project delivery, personalized training services, and custom Emulate3D catalog developmentCommunicate with the product team to influence roadmap decisions through customer feedback and technical insightsCreate technical documentation, including modeling standards, reference architectures, and best practicesSupport integrations with complementary tools such as robot programming environments, PLC software, and CAD platformsSkillsBachelor's Degree in Relevant FieldLegal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job openingTypically requires 5 or more years of related experienceSolid experience using Emulate3D or related digital twin / digital engineering tools, especially in the context of emulation, controls testing, and virtual commissioningSolid experience with Rockwell Automation products, especially Studio 5000 Logix Designer, ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and FactoryTalk Logix Echo. Understanding of how a PLC functions, including interpreting and writing PLC logicBasic experience with robot simulation software, including one/more of: FANUC ROBOGUIDE, ABB RobotStudio, Yaskawa Motosim, or Siemens Technomatix Process Simulate. Understanding concepts related to robot programmingBasic experience with mechanical CAD software, including one/more of: SOLIDWORKS, AutoDesk Inventor, and PTC Creo. Understanding 3D CAD concepts such as joints, assemblies, distinction between parametric geometry and mesh-based representationsBasic experience or familiarity with electrical CAD software, such as EPLAN. Ability to interpret electrical/networking schematics into electrical modelBasic experience with scripting and programming, especially in object-oriented languages such as C#.
