What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Experience Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for delivering a consistently positive customer experience while managing various store functions. Your role will blend consultative selling with operational tasks, requiring you to be adaptable, knowledgeable, and service-oriented at all times.

Customer Service Excellence

Engage with every customer in a consultative manner, taking the time to understand their unique needs, preferences, and goals
Demonstrate in-depth product expertise across our full range of services, including printing, signs & graphics, and shipping solutions
Proactively anticipate customer needs by asking insightful questions and offering personalized recommendations
Suggest alternatives and provide creative solutions when a customer's initial request isn't feasible
Resolve customer concerns quickly and effectively, ensuring complete satisfaction and building long-term relationships
Handle complex orders with precision, utilizing our order management systems to ensure accuracy in pricing and specifications


Print & Production Services

Set up and operate a variety of printing, binding, and finishing equipment
Process customer-supplied originals and media with careful attention to quality
Manage the production queue efficiently, ensuring timely completion of orders
Maintain optimal equipment performance through routine cleaning, minor repairs, and proper operation
Ensure all printed materials meet quality standards before delivery to customers


Shipping & Logistics

Prepare parcels for shipping by wrapping items securely in appropriate insulation materials
Carefully insert items into shipping containers, ensuring proper protection during transit
Weigh packages accurately and affix labels correctly to ensure proper handling and delivery
Provide expert guidance on shipping options, carriers, and delivery timelines
Recommend appropriate shipping products and services based on customer needs


Store Operations & Merchandising

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized retail environment at all times
Stock retail supplies and materials to ensure product availability
Stay current on merchandising materials and maintain proper display of all retail products and signage
Process financial transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems
Handle cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with accuracy and integrity
Complete required financial paperwork, including daily sales reports and bank deposits
Take preemptive action to prevent errors, waste, and operational inefficiencies


Team Collaboration & Development

Follow instructions from supervisors and assist team members in daily store functions
Participate in training and mentoring newer team members
Contribute to a positive team environment through cooperation and effective communication
Look for opportunities to expand knowledge and skills across all store operations
Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards


What We're Looking For: Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent education (GED, home school completion, or post-secondary credits)
Minimum of 6 months of specialized experience in customer service, retail, or related field
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers
Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculations
Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening


Essential Functions & Physical Requirements
This role requires physical capabilities to perform job duties effectively:

Ability to stand for extended periods during entire shift (excluding scheduled meal and rest breaks)
Ability to move and lift items up to 55 pounds safely
Ability to bend, twist, and kneel as needed to perform various tasks
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members
Capacity to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction
Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment under substantial pressure
Ability to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods
Capability to work with minimal supervision while exercising good judgment
Regular attendance and ability to maintain established business hours


Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in a retail customer service role
Familiarity with printing, signs & graphics, or shipping industry operations
Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Comfortable learning new technology and systems

Compensation
