They are seeking a DevOps Engineer to own build and deployment automation, ensuring systems operate effectively in both commercial and high-side environments at scale.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and be responsible for overall platform health, scaling and planningDeveloping self-service tools and automating things to improve data engineering efficiencyBuild logging and monitoring tools to visualize the state of the platform and improve our SRE practicesPlay a critical part in implementing a secure, robust and high availability DevOps pipelineWork with the team to continue the build out of a multi-account AWS environmentAutomate build & deployment processesSkills5+ years of experience in DevOps, software engineeringExperience crafting CI/CD processes and automationDeep knowledge in AWS cloud technologyExperience with PLG stack, Datadog, or other enterprise monitoring toolsFamiliarity with infrastructure as code technologies such as Terraform and PulumiProficient with containerization technologies like DockerExcellent with Python, Bash, or other scripting languagesExperience working in an agile scrum environment and also an ability to work independentlyAble to quickly learn new and existing technologiesStrong attention to detail and excellent analytical capabilitiesU.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access U.S. only data systems and export-controlled dataExperience working in AWS GovCloudExperience in data processing with the Department of Defense and/or the ICExperience building CD/CI systems in Github ActionsPassion for DevSecOpsExperience working with Elasticsearch/OpensearchHave worked hardening and delivering software applicationsExperience with modern web services architecturesExperience with relational database systems, including SQL and relational designKnowledge of advanced networking concepts such as overlays, VPNs, and zero trust networksStrong collaboration and negotiation skills and must be able to work on multi-functional projects with internal partner engineering teamsClearance preferredWillingness to travel about 20-30%BenefitsHealth, dental, and vision insurance100% remote first culture.
