They are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join their Cloud Security and Infrastructure team, responsible for building and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure while collaborating with engineering teams to drive efficiency and solve operational challenges.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with Engineering stakeholders to design and maintain a reliable, scalable, and secure platformOptimize and enhance deployment tooling and infrastructure, including creating and maintaining new CI/CD pipelines, improving infrastructure for cost-effectiveness and performanceCollaborate with the Engineering team to identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutionsProvide expert DevOps guidance for existing projects and new initiativesSet up and maintain test environments for both manual and automated testingConduct vulnerability scans and penetration tests, analyzing results and acting on findingsPlan and execute ongoing routine application maintenance tasksParticipate in on-call rotations for monitoring, alerting, and incident responseIdentify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements within our infrastructureSkills3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or automation engineeringStrong understanding of cloud technologies, particularly AWSHands-on experience managing systems and services on a cloud platform (AWS)Solid understanding of database technologies such as MongoDBKnowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux SystemsProficiency with Terraform and Packer for infrastructure as codeExperience deploying and managing cloud services, monitoring and alerting systems, and handling critical issuesAgile development experience and familiarity with CI/CD practicesStrong attention to detail, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skillsExceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrentlyAbility to work independently and thrive in an autonomous environment with minimal supervisionExcellent communication and collaboration skillsA passion for continuous learning and technical curiosityAWS DevOps Engineer certificationExperience with cloud-based security protocolsBenefitsMinimum of 3 weeks vacation, 5 sick days, and 6 personal/flex days, plus a company-wide winter holiday shutdown.Health, dental, and vision, long-term disability, and a Health Spending Account (HSA).Flexible parental leave benefits, including top-ups.A dedicated work-from-home allowance to get you set up for success.Company OverviewAthennian is a software firm that provides a modern legal entity and corporate secretary management cloud platform for legal teams.
