[Remote] Designer/Social Media Creative (contract)

Hilton is a globally recognized brand seeking a creative professional for their in-house creative studio within Global Marketing and Loyalty. The role involves conceptualizing, designing, and executing innovative creative solutions for various brand areas, including print, web, and social media, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance consumer engagement and brand loyalty.ResponsibilitiesDevelop creative concepts in partnership with the Creative Director, Art Directors, and Marketing StrategistsCollaborate with Loyalty, Enterprise, Luxury, and Brand marketing teams to understand business objectives and creative needs in support of direct response marketing campaignsLiaise with internal stakeholders to interpret creative briefs and develop compelling creative solutions across omni-channel touchpoints with a customer-first lensManage graphic design and social asset creation from concept through design, production, completion, and deliveryPresent creative ideas and provide business rationale to internal stakeholders for approval and developmentEvolve, revise, or redevelop marketing and social assets in response to feedback from the Creative Director or internal stakeholdersAssist the team with day-to-day production requests, including image selection and reformatting creative for various channelsBalance multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines while collaborating across multiple stakeholders with varying prioritiesWork closely with the project manager to keep all projects on trackAdhere to brand identity standards and guidelines while helping to inform the evolution and extension of the visual identityPresent design work at various stages to stakeholders for review and final approvalStay current on industry trends, particularly in the digital and social space, and share ideas and recommendations for innovating new templates and design approachesSkills5+ years of relevant design experience, preferably in a design firm, advertising or social agency, or in-house creative departmentExperience working with a marketing or social department with an understanding of business objectives and the ability to find creative solutions to help achieve those objectivesExperience developing rich media and other forms of online advertising or social media assetsStrong portfolio demonstrating a range of experience, concepts, and visual stylesBachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field preferredAbility to manage multiple campaigns for various internal brand clients simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with tight deadlinesStrong presentation and communication skills with the ability to inspire and sell creative rationale to senior management and cross-functional teamsSelf-motivation, flexibility, confidence, enthusiasm, and determinationAccuracy and strong attention to detailMarket awareness with the ability to understand and connect with target audiencesCollaborative mindset with the ability to build strong working relationships quickly across multiple functionsKnowledge of design fundamentals and messaging hierarchyAbility to develop, present, and pitch creative ideas effectivelyStrong creative and organizational problem-solving abilitiesAbility to apply style guides creatively while upholding brand identity standardsStrong interest in social and cultural trends and emerging digital technologiesAnimation and video production experience is a plusExperience supervising junior designers is a plusExperience working at a creative agency is a plusBackground in hospitality, luxury, or consumer brands is a plusCompany OverviewHilton is a hospitality company, owns luxury and full-service hotels and resorts, and focused-service hotels.
