NOVALINK SOLUTIONS LLC is seeking an experienced Database Analyst to support the configuration and management of relational data models aligned with the Ivanti ITSM and Neurons platform. The role involves collaborating with the OIS team to translate manual processes into structured data systems, ensuring data integrity, and supporting data migration activities.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the OIS team members to support the configuration and management of relational data models aligned with Ivanti ITSM and Neurons platform requirementsTranslate spreadsheet-based and manual processes into structured, scalable data systems to support hardware/software asset and purchasing workflowsContribute to the design and population of the configuration management database (CMDB), asset inventories, and line-item level purchasing structuresAssist in mapping legacy records (e.g., hardware, software, vendor, location, financial) into Ivanti object structures, identifying and integrating missing or incomplete dataSupport integration efforts with procurement systems, inventory sources, and automated discovery toolsPlan and support data migration activities, including extraction, transformation, and load (ETL), testing, cleanup, and validationEnsure data normalization, integrity, and accessibility across the asset lifecycle, incorporating performance tuning, error correction, and auditing best practicesCollaborate with internal technical teams and vendors to troubleshoot and validate data mappings, field configurations, and automation triggersDocument custom database structures, data dictionaries, and configuration elements to support maintainability and knowledge transferParticipate in daily and weekly Sprint Planning and review meetings with the OIS ITSM teamProvide feedback and input on the project release schedules, including identifying and recommending incremental delivery of work for the deliverables to be completed in a specific sprintProvide updates to current Tasks and action items, upcoming tasks and action items, and plan work for the current and upcoming sprintsDemonstrate understanding of requirements using incremental functional prototypes and receiving and documenting feedback from business and technical stakeholdersReview any additions / modifications to requirements and determine impact to deliverables and timelines. Communicate impact to OIS Business Operations ITSM lead and contract administratorDocument Services completed under this Task in the relevant Sprint Report PackageKeep members of the project apprised of sprint status via daily updates within daily meetings and within tracking systems as neededCoordinate review and ensure updates of product delivery schedule are agreed upon by the OIS Business Operations ITSM lead and contract administratorComplete program documentation identified in the Sprint Planning meetings. Follow standard version control, configuration management principles, and OIS standards while making changes to artifacts. Create: Flow diagrams and process documentationETL and data migration plans and other associated documentationData mapping and data transformation rulesSQL queries, reports and dashboardsKPI metrics and analyticsUser guides, SOPs and knowledge articlesCMDB configuration specificationsSoftware normalization and categorization documentationData reconciliation and quality assurance guides and SOPsUAT test scripts and validationTrend analysis reportsData governance and compliance reportingProcess improvement and optimization recommendationsOther ITSM/ITAM artifacts as defined in the Sprint Planning meetingsProvide Services for the purpose of transferring knowledge, ideas, concepts, and information regarding the Deliverables and the System to OIS in order that OIS and OIS-identified employees become self-reliant with respect to the day-to-day operation of the Ivanti toolSkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required0–2 years of relevant professional work experience in Software Development, Maintenance, or ImplementationEquivalent experience may be substituted with accredited college training (up to four years)Graduate training (up to two years)Successful completion of an accredited Information Technology Certification program (up to two years, with proof of certification)Two (2) years of work experience as a Data Administrator, Data Warehousing Administrator, Data Architect, Database Analyst-Intermediate, or Data Warehousing Analyst may substitute for all required experienceExperience as a Data Analyst, with the ability to analyze existing tools and databasesAbility to provide software solution recommendationsAbility to translate business requirements into clear, non-technical termsStrong knowledge of methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databasesHigh-level written and verbal communication skillsWorkflow design / flow diagrams and process documentationETL and data migration documentationData cleansing, normalization and standardizationData mapping and transformation rulesSQL queries, reports and dashboardsKPI metrics and analyticsUser guides, SOPs, and knowledge articlesITSM / ITAM subject matter expertise (SME)CMDB and configuration data validationAsset, software, and contract data analysisSoftware normalization and categorizationData reconciliation and quality assuranceUAT support and data validationExecutive and operational reportingTrend analysis and operational insightsSystem integration supportData governance and compliance reportingStakeholder collaboration and workshopsAgile project participationProcess improvement and optimizationMore than nine years of experience maintaining data storage and access by evaluating, designing, and implementing company databasesWorking for state government IT projectsIvanti implementation / support for government health and human services agency/agenciesCompany OverviewNovalink Solutions LLC (Novalink) is a global consulting, engineering, and AI product development company delivering innovative technology and business solutions across industries including IT, Finance, Engineering, Healthcare, Insurance, Energy, Utilities, and Government.
