Shawnee Housing Authority is seeking a highly motivated Data Entry Associate to join our team and assist us in managing our data and records. Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter data into our computer system from various documents and sources
- Review data for errors and discrepancies and make necessary corrections
- Maintain electronic and physical records to ensure information is up-to-date and easily accessible
- Assist with data analysis and reporting as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure data integrity and accuracy
- Complete assigned tasks within deadlines and ensure timely completion of all projects
- Keep abreast of changes in data management processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, additional degree or certification in related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Data Entry Associate or similar role
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy
- Proficient in using databases and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
