[Remote] Data Engineer/Python SQL Developer*

They are seeking a highly qualified Data Engineer/Python & SQL Developer to support the design, development, and deployment of data engineering and ETL solutions in a mission-focused environment.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, enhance, and maintain data pipelines, ETL workflows, and backend data processing solutions using Python and SQLImplement and support cloud-based data engineering capabilities leveraging AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, Amazon S3, and other relevant AWS servicesApply leading practices in database design, including schema development, data modeling, normalization, optimization, and data integrity controlsAnalyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable, and secure data solutionsDevelop, update, and maintain technical artifacts such as solution documentation, interface specifications, data flow diagrams, and operational proceduresParticipate in Agile ceremonies and delivery processes, including backlog management, sprint planning, status tracking, and issue resolution through JiraTroubleshoot and resolve data quality, integration, and performance issues across the solution landscapeTest ETL Pipelines and Data workflows and perform code review for other Data EngineersCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including developers, architects, analysts, and program leadership, to support successful delivery outcomesSkillsProven experience as an advanced or expert-level Python and SQL developerHands-on experience with AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, Amazon S3, and related ETL or cloud data integration toolsStrong understanding of database design and data architecture best practicesExperience producing clear, structured technical documentation for development and operational useExperience working within Agile delivery teams and using Jira to support workflow managementStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentConsultant/Senior Consultant (or USDC/PDM/Specialist equivalent)Prior experience supporting Department of Defense or U.S. Air Force programsExisting Air Force credentials and/or ability to work in a secure or controlled government environmentFamiliarity with secure data handling, compliance-driven delivery, and mission-oriented technology programsExperience working in complex enterprise data environments with multiple upstream and downstream integrationsCompany OverviewWe proudly serve our clients by providing expertise in the Program Management, Information Technology, and Administrative Support domains.
