About the position

The Assess Repairability (Total Loss) Adjuster plays a critical role in the claims handling process at Allstate, focusing on determining the repairability or total loss of vehicles. This remote position involves reviewing vehicle damages, preparing estimates, assessing conditions, and engaging in negotiations with customers and claimants. Adjusters will utilize their expertise to ensure fair and reasonable settlements while maintaining a high level of customer service and communication.

Responsibilities
• Review moderate to complex vehicle damages and prepare estimates and valuations.

• Assess vehicle conditions and determine salvage valuations.
,
• Engage in negotiation and settlement processes with customers and claimants.
,
• Conduct detailed investigations of auto property damage claims.
,
• Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders through various channels.

• Evaluate and negotiate claims in accordance with legal and business standards.

• Utilize critical thinking skills to solve problems in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
• Must have 18 months or more of Auto Collision estimating experience in CCC One, Audatex, or Mitchell.

• Previous experience in total loss adjustment or a related field is highly desirable.

• Proficiency in using estimating software and valuation tools for virtual assessments.

• Strong analytical skills to evaluate moderate to complex vehicle damages effectively.

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills to interact with customers and stakeholders remotely.

• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a virtual work environment.

• Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to delivering accurate and timely results.
