The Data and Reporting Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting data to support organizational decision-making and strategic initiatives, transforming raw data into actionable insights through various reporting and visualization tools.ResponsibilitiesCollect, clean, consolidate and analyze large datasets from multiple internal and external sourcesPerform database inquiries, compile and analyze data, identify trends, and furnish statistical analyses and reports on service deliveryPresent findings in clear, concise formats tailored to different audiencesCreate and maintain dashboards, reports and visualizations using Power BI and other Microsoft tools to support decision-makingAutomate reporting process to improve efficiency and accuracyPerform ad hoc analyses to answer business questions and support leadership requestsEstablish procedures to ensure the accurate and efficient collection and entry of data into reporting systemCreate and maintain documentation for data definitions, including a dictionary, reports, and analysis processesStay current with emerging data technologies and best practicesRecommend improvements to existing processes based on data insights and collaborating with teams to improve system performanceMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metricsOther duties as assignedSkillsU.S. Citizenship is required for this positionMust pass a pre-employment background check and be able to obtain and maintain a government clearanceBachelor's degree in quantitative analysis, information technology, or a related field PLUS Two years' experience in providing qualitative or quantitative data compilation, analysis, reporting, and database management. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be consideredComplex Database management experience and manipulation using tools such as SQL, Python or Excel or other data marts to meet user needsProfessional experience using visualization tools, specifically Power BIExperience working with cloud data platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)Strong mathematical skills, data modeling, and proven successful experience to analyze, model, and interpret dataProven experience managing multiple prioritiesStrong effective communication skills both verbally and in writingExperience using strong interpersonal skills such as collaboration and coordination with various levels of stakeholdersProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software and demonstrated ability to use software to prepare management reports and present informationKnowledge and/or familiarity with the military lifestylePrior experience working with the Fleet and Family Support ProgramsFamiliarity with data warehousing and ETL processesCompany OverviewZeiders Enterprises, Inc. provides employment and education counseling services to military service members, veterans, and their families.
