Remote Data Analyst
Position Overview
Harbor is seeking a Remote Data Analyst to support litigation teams and internal operations by transforming complex datasets into actionable insights. This role blends structured data analysis, quality control, workflow optimization, and client-facing reporting.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, comfortable working with large datasets, and experienced in environments where accuracy and defensibility matter.
Key Responsibilities
ā¢ Analyze structured and semi-structured datasets related to litigation and investigations
ā¢ Build reports and dashboards for internal leadership and client deliverables
ā¢ Perform quality control audits on document review outputs and production sets
ā¢ Assist with search term testing, validation, and performance metrics
ā¢ Create and maintain data tracking systems for case progress, responsiveness rates, and workflow efficiency
ā¢ Support AI-assisted document review workflows with structured outputs
ā¢ Extract and normalize data from platforms such as Relativity or similar systems
ā¢ Identify patterns, anomalies, and defensibility risks within datasets
ā¢ Document methodologies clearly to ensure repeatability and auditability
ā¢ Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, client services, and leadership

Requirements
Required Qualifications
ā¢ 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or litigation support
ā¢ Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data validation, etc.)
ā¢ Experience with SQL or other querying languages
ā¢ Experience working with large datasets (100k+ records)
ā¢ Strong written communication skills
ā¢ Ability to explain complex findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
ā¢ Experience working remotely and managing time independently
Preferred Qualifications
ā¢ Experience in eDiscovery or litigation support
ā¢ Familiarity with Relativity or other review platforms
ā¢ Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar dashboard tools
ā¢ Experience working with legal teams or corporate legal departments
ā¢ Understanding of structured coding workflows and review analytics
ā¢ Exposure to AI/LLM-assisted workflows
