They are seeking a Data Analyst to provide data and analytics support for the 2026 Party at the Polls campaign, ensuring outreach is targeted and measurable. The role involves supporting voter contact efforts, audience creation, and executing the program's learning agenda.ResponsibilitiesSupport the execution of large-scale direct voter contact (DVC) programs across modes and platforms — including mail, SMS, and digital — ensuring voter universes are accurate, well-structured, and ready for deploymentBuild and maintain clean, well-documented data tables for analysis and universe creation, supporting the program's ability to target and reach voters at scaleSupport the program's research and learning agenda by adhering to established definitions of treatment and control groups and ensuring audience segments meet A/B testing standardsSupport the identification and prioritization of voting sites for Party at the Polls activations, using data to guide geographic decision-makingProvide analytical capacity across Civic Nation teams during a high-intensity season, including:Contributing to reports and presentations for internal and external audiencesDelivering timely analysis of program performanceBuilding automated processes and dashboards that surface real-time insights and reduce manual data workOther reasonable and related duties as assignedSkills1+ years of work experience in an analyst role (including internships), or significant quantitative coursework including statistics, economics, modeling, regression analysis, or codingExperience with SQL requiredA healthy skepticism of data outputs — able to question results, pressure-test assumptions, and assess the real-world plausibility of findings before acting on themAbility to work collaboratively on coding projects using version control, clear documentation, and well-commented codeExperience working with a comprehensive voter fileAbility to implement automated solutions to reduce manual data workStrong oral communication skills, including the ability to translate complex analyses into clear, accessible insights for non-technical audiencesAbility to create data visualizations that are not just accurate, but genuinely insightful and easy to understandExcellent organizational and time-management skills, with sharp attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without dropping the ballProficiency in Google SuiteStrong teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills; comfortable juggling competing priorities in a fast-moving, high-stakes environmentExperience with R or Python, BigQuery, and Google Data Studio preferredExperience with natural language processing (NLP) is a plusBenefits100% employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance for employeesFlexible paid time offPaid family & medical leaveAccess to a 401(k) planContinued health insurance coverage beyond the program end date as part of our commitment to supporting team membersCompany OverviewCivic Nation is a empowering people to take action can change culture.
