The Customer Success Specialist role focuses on supporting a growing network of cities, counties, and economic development organizations by guiding them through onboarding and ensuring long-term partner success.ResponsibilitiesGuide cities, counties, and EDOs through onboarding and help them hit the ground runningBe a responsive, knowledgeable point of contact for customer questions and day-to-day supportBuild and maintain knowledge base articles, guides, and self-serve resourcesPlan and facilitate webinars that educate and empower our government and community usersPartner with internal teams to surface customer feedback and improve the overall experienceHelp ensure the communities we serve are set up for sustained, long-term successSkillsPublic sector - Experience working in or alongside cities, counties, EDOs, or similar government and community development organizationsCustomer success - 2+ years in Customer Success, Account Management, or a client-facing support role, ideally serving public-sector or mission-driven customersComfortable building strong relationships with government staff and community stakeholdersOrganized, responsive, and proactive, you solve problems before they escalateAble to consult customers on best practices and applications of our softwareGenuinely excited about supporting local governments and economic growthA strong communicator who thrives in both 1:1 support and group settings, like webinarsSelf-directed and reliable working remotely across distributed teams and time zonesExperience with CRM tools, data platforms, or SaaS productsFamiliarity with how cities, counties, or EDOs operateCompany OverviewAt ExecutiveID & Search, we specialize in placing senior executives through our innovative recruitment model, seamlessly bridging the gap between traditional retained and contingent recruiting.
