The role involves providing day-to-day support to clients on transport connectivity and routing technologies, including WAN technologies and cloud-based deployments.ResponsibilitiesTransport and Routing support when deploying products on Client EnvironmentSupport on WAN technologies such as SD-WAN and IPsec VPN and routing technologies such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS etc etcProvide support on Cloud based Deployments like VNF (Virtual Network Functions) and CNF (container Networking Functions)Handson on Packaging solutions supporting OSP(Open Stack Platform - Heat/Hot Templates) and other cloud based platformsNetwork infrastructure as code with Python, Ansible and TerraformNetwork Management, Product deployment on Client Environment with transport, CSE for clientsThe role demands excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VxLAN protocols, and L2/L3 VPNsCandidate requires good understanding of 4G LTE/5G Core, Mobile Private Networks, Candidates should be adept with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis toolsThey must demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple projects concurrentlyStrong problem-solving skills are essential to address and resolve current deployment, package and security issues and mitigate future risks effectivelyAdditionally, the candidate should be capable of managing and coordinating project workflows, resolving any vulnerabilities or security issues that arise, and handling troubleshooting calls efficientlySkillsBachelors in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent industry experienceClassic Network Engineering experienceUnderstanding, deployment, and troubleshooting experience with BGP and OSPF routing protocolsCloud networking experience on various cloud platformsUnderstanding of fundamental concepts in OSP (Open Stack Orchestration Platform) as well as relevant experienceInfrastructure as code experienceExperience with Git and GitHubExperience with Linux shell and PythonExperience with AnsibleAble to work well under pressure, multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectivelyExceptional ability and solid desire to learn new skillsGood to have Understanding of MPN (mobile Private Networks)Understanding of fundamental concepts in Kubernetes (K8S), WebScale etc. is a huge plusHolding Linux certificationHolding CCNA or CCNP certificationHands-on experience with Software Defined Networking and distributed systemsFamiliarity with overlays and tunneling technologiesProven track record of success in a collaborative team environment, particularly in startup settingsPrior working experience on one or more Cloud Service Providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, Alibaba cloud, etc.) is a plusCompany OverviewOpplane is a software company that expertise in data product management, cloud infrastructure, mobile development and machine learning.
