Remote Customer Service Agent
Description:
Mpathic is looking for individuals to join our team as temporary remote customer service agents. These agents will be providing customers who were affected by disasters with relief assistance and resources. We are looking for full-time resources to help between the hours of 7 AM - 11 PM ET seven days a week.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
ā¢ Answer inbound calls and maintain professionalism with the caller while addressing their complaints and questions.
ā¢ Follow established work instructions and scripts for calls and documentation.
ā¢ Provide great customer service and actively manage one-on-one relationships with callers.
Qualifications:
ā¢ Must be proficient in English and possess excellent oral and written communication.
ā¢ Must be able to work a minimum of 30 hrs a week
ā¢ Must possess above basic proficiency with computers and smart phones
ā¢ Must complete Day Zero Certification self-led trainings, Registration Intake Training, and Helpline Training. These are scheduled by the customer. You must complete training before you are able to take phone calls.
Preferred Qualifications:
ā¢ Previous call center experience is preferred but not required.
ā¢ We will train skilled entry-level candidates.
ā¢ Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. citizenship status
ā¢ Must live in the U.S.
ā¢ Must be 18 years or older
ā¢ Must be willing and able to pass a criminal background check and credit check
Technical Requirements:
Each candidate must have:
ā¢ A laptop or desktop with at least 8GB of RAM.
ā¢ A wired headset with a microphone for clear communication.
ā¢ Two monitors are preferred, but not mandatory.
ā¢ A quiet, distraction-free, private workspace.
ā¢ Reliable access to broadband internet connectivity.
