Remote Controller

As a Controller, you will own and guide all global accounting activities and financial reporting, serving as the financial backbone of a growing company. Your role will ensure the integrity of financial operations while collaborating closely with leadership and stakeholders. Accountabilities
• Own the monthly close process, including general ledger review and financial statement preparation
• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
• Ensure timely and accurate GAAP-compliant financial reporting
• Design and improve accounting processes and internal controls
• Manage local, state, and federal reporting requirements
• Partner closely with FP&A to analyze budget vs. actual variances
• Manage relationships with external accounting firms and tax advisors
• Provide proactive insights into financial performance for stakeholders
• Continuously enhance the month-end close and reporting procedures

Requirements
• CPA with 8+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in Big 4 public accounting and high-growth startups
• Strong background in international technology companies, particularly SaaS/software
• Knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606
• Proficient in accounting systems and Excel/Google Sheets
• Comfortable operating in a fast-scaling remote environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
