[Remote] Contracts Administration, Lead Associate

They are seeking a Contracts Administration, Lead Associate to manage proposals, contracts administration, and general business processes of contract management for government programs under the Homeland & Diplomacy and Justice Sector.ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of contracts of various contract types and complexitiesPartner with Project teams to provide daily support on coordination of contractual and business matters. Engage with multiple functions to support problem solving and providing creative solutions on various contractual problem setsMonitor funding, budgets, and invoices against contracts and mitigate cost overrunsEnsure project compliance with government contracting requirementsManage the start-up and close-out process for all assigned projectsDeveloping cost proposals and narratives for proposals, strengthening the company’s competitive positionDevelop strong customer relationships, interacting frequently, and working with internal and external customers to support resolution of issues and streamline processesAnalyze, prepare and negotiate and administer contractual agreements such as Teaming & Non-Disclosure Agreements, Contracts, Subcontracts, and other binding agreementsSkillsBachelors' Degree in Business or related field plus a minimum of 5 years of related work experience9+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degreeExperience working proposal responses to Request for Proposal (RFP), participating in RFP and proposal review meetings, contract pre-award meetings, conducting negotiations, and drafting/finalization of contractExperience managing Government contracts under FAR, DFAR, and other agency supplementsExperience preparing, maintaining, retrieving, and communicating records, reports, or documents that may be required to meet corporate and Contract Management requirementsExperience performing closeout of contracts, finalizing outstanding contract issues, issuing final modifications & invoices, and coordinating completion of contractor performance evaluationsExperience interfacing with all levels of the project team (includes representing and interfacing with all levels of internal and/or external management and corporate organization person's documentsUS Citizenship requiredProficient in general business applications like Deltek CostPoint, Microsoft Office -Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat ProSelf-starter and independent worker with good organizational and computer skillsDeltek experience is a plusWorking Knowledge of contract types and contract termsUnderstand and implement policies and proceduresExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBenefitsDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.Company OverviewPeraton Fearlessly solving the toughest national security challenges.
