[Remote] Content Management Training Specialist (Temp)

The primary responsibilities include developing, updating, and maintaining eLearning content for the Agency Learning Management System, ensuring compliance with Section 508 ADA standards and other protocols.ResponsibilitiesUse industry standard eLearning authoring tools, to support NASA customers in the conversion and upload of existing training courses into new, online courses that meet Section 508 requirements, Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) and/or Aviation Industry Computer Based Training Committee (AICC) conformance as well as any new emerging online course protocolsDevelop, update, and otherwise maintain online and LMS AssessmentsUpdate existing LMS online contentProvide the upload and activation of successfully tested courses into the Agency LMSProvide troubleshooting and repair of converted courses that fail to operate within the LMS environmentMaintain and update on-line course libraries, course availability, and provide course support to the customerProvide support to troubleshoot, restore or replace LMS courses made inoperable due to system or environment changesSupport the development and deployment of training coursesProvide content development level of effort estimates for course creation, updates, and upload and testingMaintain course descriptions in the LMS for approved coursesAdministers and maintains online content housed on the Learning Management SystemProvides consulting services to Agency customers regarding eLearning content, requirements, design, reporting, and implementationSkillsBachelor's DegreeMinimum of 8 years' experience in a corporate training environmentMid-level knowledge of Learning Management System administrationStrong ability to create and or/design effective eLearning or multimedia contentAbility to effectively communicate and collaborate with others at all levels of the organization as well as vendors both verbally and writtenStrong customer service skills and responsive attitudeWorking knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Macintosh operating systemsFamiliarity with configuration and operation of Agency browser platforms (e.g., Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Safari)U.S. Citizenship required; Must be able to successfully undergo a background investigation for a position of Public TrustSoftware development experience: Trivantis Lectora Inspire, Camtasia Studio, Articulate Storyline, SnagIt, html5, JavaScript, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Job Access With Speech (JAWS), and Microsoft Office 365 SuiteBenefitsMedicalDentalVisionLife InsuranceShort-Term DisabilityLong-Term DisabilityAccidental Death & DismembermentSupplemental Income Protection Programs401(k) with company matchFlexible Spending AccountsEmployee Assistance ProgramEducation & Certification ReimbursementEmployee Discount ProgramPaid Time Off and HolidaysCompany OverviewCOLSA Corporation is an engineering and support services company founded in 1980.
