Remote Construction Site Safety Manager
Our client is a leading construction firm seeking a dedicated and experienced Remote Construction Site Safety Manager to oversee safety protocols for projects across various locations. This is a fully remote position, requiring the ability to manage safety compliance and training programs from a distance, utilizing digital tools and communication platforms. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and enforcing comprehensive safety plans, conducting virtual site inspections and risk assessments, ensuring adherence to all OSHA regulations and industry best practices, investigating incidents and near-misses, and developing corrective actions, delivering remote safety training sessions to site personnel, and maintaining accurate safety documentation and records. You will work closely with on-site project managers and safety officers, leveraging technology for real-time reporting and communication. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related field, along with at least 7 years of experience in construction safety management. Possessing relevant certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of construction site hazards, safety regulations, and risk management principles is essential. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are crucial for effective remote management and training. The ability to interpret and apply complex safety standards and guide site teams remotely is paramount. You must be adept at using project management software, video conferencing tools, and digital documentation systems to perform your duties effectively.
